Most of my work sits where the product meets the backend: Laravel and PHP APIs, WordPress platforms with custom plugins and Gutenberg blocks, and React, Next.js and Vue front ends. I've done it in-house for teams in Hong Kong and Australia, and since 2024 as a freelancer owning projects from architecture to deployment.

I spend a lot of time on the unglamorous parts: slow queries, caching, queues, tests and careful code review. That's what keeps a site fast and easy to change long after launch. I also use AI tooling (Claude, Cursor, custom MCP servers) to move faster on refactoring, review and QA.
